These small peppers are differentiated from other mini sweet peppers by their elongated and flatter shape.
Yum Yum peppers contain the same beneficial nutrients that the common-sized bell peppers contain. All sweet pepper varieties of Capsicum annuum contain high amounts of vitamins A and B and three times the amount of vitamin C as citrus. The colorful peppers get their hues from carotenoids, which are phytonutrients that contain both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Yum Yum peppers can be eaten fresh, whole as a snack, or they can be sliced, diced or julienned and used like most sweet peppers.
