Yum Yum peppers are a mini sweet pepper variety, botanically classified as Capsicum annuum. The mixture of colorful mini bells are a hybrid of two different selected for their smaller size, sweet taste, and disease resistance. These small peppers are differentiated from other mini sweet peppers by their elongated and flatter shape.

Yum Yum peppers were developed by US Agriseeds, a company in San Luis Obispo, California. The small peppers were selected for their disease resistance, flavor and size. The seeds were distributed through several seed companies who had contracted with US Agriseeds parent company VoloAgri. Many small farmers and home gardeners are growing the small sweet Yum Yum peppers, and they can be found at local farmers markets.
